Hank Sender moved to the Vail Valley in February of 1990 after graduating from the University of Maryland. Like many Vail locals he came for the world class skiing, but was enticed to stay by the spectacular Rocky Mountain summers. From 1990 until 1997 Hank owned and operated a bicycle shop in the Vail Village. In July of 1997 Hank became a licensed Colorado Real Estate Broker. Since then he has worked in sales and marketing for real estate developments in Vail, Breckenridge, Telluride, and Los Cabos, Mexico. Hank joined the Gateway team in June of 2003.

Hank likes to spend his free time enjoying the outdoors; among his many interests are fly-fishing, golf, and mountain biking. He has also been a volunteer for many of the Vail Valley Foundation events, and is a member of the Telluride Elks Lodge.
